The Prairie Riders returned to the Door County Camping Retreat for the annual camping trip on June 28-30, 2008. Located about three-and-a-half hours from Pleasant Prairie, Door County Camping Retreat is a picturesque camping facility located outside Egg Harbor on the near the Green Bay coast of Door County.
While in Door County, many of Prairie Riders rented bicycles to ride through the Peninsula State Park. Others chose to shop or sightsee. Later in the day, some attended a wine tasting and played bocce, before rejoining the group at the group campsite for a fish boil dinner. The weekend wrapped up with breakfast at a local favorite before all headed home.
