Post a For Sale Ad

To create a For Sale ad, follow these steps.

1. Sign in to the site using the Login box. Once logged in, this box will change to your Navigation Menu.

2. On the Navigation menu, Create content.

3. On the page that loads, the content choices will be displayed.

• If you would like to post an ad with photos, choose CREATE A GALLERY.
• If you would like to post an ad with ONLY text, choose CREATE A PAGE.

Full instructions in in other Help files about how to post a Page or a Gallery. WHETHER you choose gallery or page, there are some common field you will need to fill.

• Gallery Name / Title. Type in a title like "Trailer and Sled Package for Sale"
• Content Keywords. Type in For Sale in this field, plus any other key words such as Polaris, trailer, etc. You MUST enter For Sale for your ad to appear under the For Sale menu.
• Body. Type in enter the description of what you would like to sell. Include contact info (your email or phone) as we do not show that on your profile for safety.
• Click Save or Preview. If you choose Preview, it will preview your ad. If you are happy with it, click Save. If you would like to edit it, edit it. When the ad is acceptable, choose Save. If you don't click on Save, you won't have an ad!

4. If you are posting a Text ONLY ad, you are done, and it should show under the For Sale menu.

5. If you are posting pictures, you now need to upload them. See the How to Post a Photo Gallery help file for complete instructions, but here is an abbreviated overview.

• On the page that loads when you click Save for your text, click on Upload Images tab or the the words You may now upload pictures.
• On the page that loads, click on the Choose button and navigate to the pictures on your computer. Select one picture.
• Click on the next Choose button and navigate to the picture on your computer. Select the next picture. Continue until all pictures are selected.
• Note: You can upload up to 10 images at a time. The maximum file size is 1 MB.
• Once you have selected all of the pictures for you For Sale gallery, click on Submit Images button at bottom of page. Your images will process and upload.
• Once your images upload, you will be shown thumbnails (small versions) and can write a brief caption in the Title field.
• If you do not change / add a caption, the caption will be the file name.
• Once you're happy, click Save. Your gallery should appear under the For Sale menu, and on the home page.
