Paint the Town Green

By Lindy - Posted on 10 March 2010

4-leaf cloverIt just so happens that our March meeting falls on St. Patrick's Day. Instead of painting the town our usual red, let's make it green. Bring your family out for a St. Patrick's Day style dinner before our monthly meeting on March 17.

We have reserved the non-smoking side of Birchwood Grill's dining room (to the left when you walk in the front door) beginning at 6:30 p.m. Birchwood Grill is offering a complete St. Patrick's Day buffet, complete with corned beef, cabbage, Irish stew, potatoes and more, plus its full salad bar for $11.99 per person ($7.99 for kids eight and under). Birchwood also is offering a St. Patty's platter dinner with corned beef, cabbage and potatoes for $9.99 per person ($6.99 for kids eight and under).

And, if you prefer to mark St. Patty's Day not with food, but drink, take heart: Prairie Riders will save on pitchers of green beer. Our price for the night is $7 per pitcher.

The meeting will officially begin, as usual, at  7:30 p.m. Even if you're not feeling the luck of the Irish, we hope you won't miss the meeting. Nancy Willems and Bart Rockow were re-nominated for the board of directors, and we will be voting on those nominations during the meeting, as well as other club business.
