Oktoberfest Party 2007

By admin - Posted on 28 January 2010

The inaugural Oktoberfest party — a brand new club event planned in place of the summer picnic — kicked-off the season in style on September 26, 2007. All members and their immediate families were invited to the party, which started at 6 p.m. at The Hub Bar in Kenosha, Wis.

A catered Oktoberfest-style dinner, beer and soda were provided for all. Also, games and face painting were offered for the littlest kids while toy snowmobile races and pool tournaments were held for the teens and adults. There was also Oktoberfest-style music and a contest for the best beer stein.

At 8 p.m., a short first meeting of the season was held. Many attendees renewed their membership by paying their annual dues to the best snowmobile club we know of. Entry and raffle tickets for the Halloween party and fundraiser were available as well.

Fortunately, the party fun continued long after with more fun and socializing.

Thanks to Leigh Ann Petrusky for organizing this inaugural event!
