Oktoberfest Fundraiser Planned for October 15
Get your beer steins ready, gute Männer und Frauen, because on the heels of a successful Oktoberfest party last year, it's nearly time to Oktoberfest again! Our annual fundraiser and party will be held October 15, beginning at 7 p.m. at The Lodge at Stein Farms. The fundraiser will have a traditional German beer-drinking festival theme, live band, silent auction and raffles as well as Oktoberfest costume contest, food, drink and fun. This great event is open to all adult club members, friends and family.
The $15 per person ticket includes a full catered dinner and one free drink. Cash donations will be accepted for beer, wine and soda. Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
The Lodge at Stein Farms is the site of our Oktoberfest celebration and fundraiser. Many thanks to Clem Stein for letting us use The Lodge! Check out his cool site, www.wowcoolstuff.com, for the party supplies you may need. The barware section has a selection of pilsner glasses such as the extra large beer glass that can hold five beers at once. Also check out the lighted pilsners, pitchers, lighted theme ice cubes, and more.
