Club Trip to Gateway Lodge
Join the club on our February trip to the Gateway Lodge in Land O'Lakes, Wis., on February 18-21, 2010. The trip has been organized by Nancy and Jeff Willems.
The resort serves as a gateway to Michigan's Upper Pennisula. A block of eight rooms was reserved under the Prairie Riders PL. PR., WI. (The Illinois Prairie Riders also have a reservation on a different weekend, so confirm the correct code/date are used.) The block was released on December 18, but there may be additional rooms available. Contact the lodge directly.
Group rates are offered for studio rooms and suites. The resort has 72 customized and newly renovated suites and studios with kitchenettes, an indoor pool, hot tub and redwood sauna. Rates range from $75 to $100 per night, excluding tax.
The club dinner will be held Saturday, February 20, at 7 p.m., in the Gateway Lodge Restaurant.
The cancellation policy is 72 hours prior to arrival with no charges.

The club had a great time at Gateway Lodge this weekend with the snow holding up in Wisconsin and excellent trail conditions in Michigan. Most put on over 200 miles in just a couple days and Jamie Carters group logging 487 miles. Wow, those boys can ride.
We all had fun. Some more than others ;) Everyone helped Brian celebrate his birthday and he still made it out alive! We had dinner in the lodge on Saturday night while others were still out celebrating Brian's Birthday. Hey, who can blame them!!
We decided we would block (8) rooms for next year on 2/10/11, in case we wanted to return as a group. The Gateway Lodge was a great hub for riding both Wisconsin and Michigan trails and the Lodge had a cool, historic feel to it.
