Summer Picnic

The Prairie Riders summer picnic was held Saturday, August 20, at the home of Dave and Helen Goldman. For this family-friendly event, the club offered a mini ATVs, bag toss, volleyball and a bounce house for the kids as well as a pinata.

The Prairie Riders summer picnic — a pig roast — was held Saturday, August 28, at the home of Dave and Helen Goldman. For this family-friendly event, the Goldmans set up a track for the kids to ride go-karts, a 120 or a mini ATV. Space Walk of Salem provided a bounce house for the kids. Adults and kids alike also could enjoy volleyball, bocce, horseshoes and other picnic fun.

The summer picnic was held on September 17, 2005, at at Hansen Park in Bristol, Wis. Club members Jeff and Wendy Harris organized the event.

There was great grilled food, corn, beer and soda. There were games for the kids as well as volleyball, horseshoes, mini snowmobile races, helmet toss and more, along with prizes.

The inaugural Oktoberfest party — a brand new club event planned in place of the summer picnic — kicked-off the season in style on September 26, 2007. All members and their immediate families were invited to the party, which started at 6 p.m. at The Hub Bar in Kenosha, Wis.

Held instead of a summer picnic, our Oktoberfest party and kickoff meeting at The Hub Bar, Kenosha, Wis., on September 17, 2008, was a huge success! We had 70 members in attendance.

The Summer Club Picnic was held on August 19, 2006, at Hansen Park in Bristol, Wis.
