Held instead of a summer picnic, our Oktoberfest party and kickoff meeting at The Hub Bar, Kenosha, Wis., on September 17, 2008, was a huge success! We had 70 members in attendance.

Winter Breakfast Ride 2008

More than 70 people joined the Prairie Riders for our annual winter breakfast on January 6, 2008. We've had lots of snow this winter for riding, so we can’t complain too much that we weren’t able to ride to the Birchwood Grill that day.

Volleyball Team 2008

The Prairie Riders again fielded a volleyball team in 2008 in a volleyball league at Earl's Club, Pleasant Prairie, Wis. Weekly games were enjoyed by both the team members and the club members who came out to cheer the Prairie Riders team on.

Summer Camping Trip 2008

The Prairie Riders returned to the Door County Camping Retreat for the annual camping trip on June 28-30, 2008. Located about three-and-a-half hours from Pleasant Prairie, Door County Camping Retreat is a picturesque camping facility located outside Egg Harbor on the near the Green Bay coast of Door County.

Halloween Party and Fundraiser 2008

Held October 25, 2008, at the Bristol Gun Club, the Prairie Riders Halloween Party opened its doors earlier — at 6:30 p.m. — in order to pack in all the fun. Entrance to the 2008 party was only $18 per person, which included snacks, a catered dinner, dessert, a fantastic band and dancing, cash prizes for best costumes, raffles throughout the night and a silent auction. A $1 donation was charged for cans of beer, wine and soda.
