Camping Fun Again in Madison
The 2010 summer camping trip was held July 30-August 1 at the beautiful Lake Farm Campground in Madison, Wis., the site of the 2009 camping trip.
Both tent sites (non-electric) and RV sites (electric, water and sewer) were available, so the Prairie Riders could camp in the level of comfort they desired.
The campground offered many amenities to club members as it is close to Lake Waubesa and the Capitol City State Bike Trail. In addition, there are two restaurants — Christy's Landing and the Green Lantern — on the lake nearby. Goodland Park also is close by and has volleyball, tennis and basketball courts, a softball field, play equipment, an unsupervised swimming area, and a boat launch.
