Become a Registered Member of the Site

You must be a registered user of the site to post content or comment on content posted by others such as photo galleries, blogs and stories. You will only need to register once. To become a registered user of the site, follow these steps:   

• Visit www.prairieriders.net.
• Click on Create a new account in the User login box in the upper right. (See picture. To view full frame picture, click on the image.)
• Click on Create new account. You will be taken to the User account page.
• On the User account page, you will be prompted to select a Username (anything you choose) and provide an E-mail address. The e-mail address will be used to confirm your account, so use a valid e-mail address. It will not be distributed or posted.
• You also must  fill in a confirmation box, called Word verification, or a CAPTCHA, to prove that you're a real person and not a spam bot. by filling in the letters and numbers shown in a box.
• Click the Create new account box. If you have filled out all of the fields correctly, it will send you back to the home page. If not, you will be prompted to make changes to fill out the form.
• Next, check your e-mail account for the confirmation e-mail. The e-mail message from the site will include your Username (the one you chose) and a temporary password, along with a link to confirm your account with the web site.
• Click on the link in the confirmation e-mail — or, if you prefer, copy the link in the confirmation message and paste it in a new browser window — and use the temporary password provided in the e-mail message to log in to the site. It is case sensitive, so type it exactly as shown.
• Once you have logged in to the site, change your temporary password to one you can remember more easily.
